• Art Teacher

Job Duties:
- The core job duty of this Art Teacher position is to give art classes to middle
school and high school students to help them prepare for college application with art
major. Specifically, the position holder is required to teach various professional drawing
and painting classes, including art history, painting, and drawing theory, masterpieces
appreciation, cast drawing, still-life, interior scape, landscape, portrait, clothed figure,
etc., spanning introductory level, intermediate level, advanced level, creative class, and
portfolio class for college admission; Develop teaching syllabuses and prepare course
materials for drawing and painting classes; Assist students in achieving stated course
objectives, evaluate their progress, and notify those in need of counseling services or
tutorial assistance. Track and maintain records of student learning outcomes and
performance. Maintain office hours for students, provide advice on class selection,
answer questions about current courses, and give professional advice on career planning;
Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among
students. Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, social development, and
physical health; Coordinate with other departments and complete various reporting
procedures as required for student evaluation, course reporting, and budget development.

Requirements:
- At least a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting, drawing or any equivalent fine arts
major, plus at least 6 months of work experience as a same or related art teaching
occupation
